Why You Should Try Linux At Least Once?!

I know what you’re thinking. “Why would anyone willingly choose to switch from Windows? What is Linux?” Ubuntu isn’t just different. It’s an OS that is designed for people who want a solution that works well without needing a lot of technical skills to make it work properly. I switched from Windows because I needed the extra space on my laptop, and Linux runs faster than both Windows 8.1 and 10.

On top of that, Linux has many efficient tools like PCManFM which can help you keep your files organized and save time when managing data on your computer with ease. I made the switch because it works better than Windows 8.1 and 10, and I knew I would be getting good support from other users like me.

The first thing that surprised me was my favorite utilities were there. My favorite music player didn’t need to be installed on Linux at all, so I could still listen to my music on a Linux computer without any worries of Windows files messing things up.

With PCManFM, I hadn’t had to install anything on the computer before using Ubuntu because it had all of my tools from Windows installed by default, and it worked seamlessly with Ubuntu.

I didn’t mind the new layout of the desktop, and I found myself using it more and more as I discovered all of its features. Linux supported me when I needed it.

This will be a short article because there are only so many things I can say about switching to Linux. To sum up, here are some examples of what works well in Linux that doesn’t work nearly as well on Windows:

1. A lightweight operating system.

2. Full access to all applications and tools without the need to download them.

3. Simple and efficient tools that work flawlessly with Linux, like PCManFM, which makes it easy to organize your files.

4. A straightforward and easy-to-use desktop that makes managing data much easier than on Windows.
